Who is Kramp?

Kramp is an international e-commerce supplier for agriculture and construction sectors, operating in 24+ countries.

Now, we can see all of the applications that are in the cloud, that are expensive, and which fit into the architecture – or don’t. Having the complete picture reduces surprises and helps projects get done faster.

The Challenge

Kramp’s architecture data was fragmented across PowerPoint, Visio, and separate systems, making it difficult to maintain accurate and up-to-date insights. Information quickly became outdated, and dependencies between applications and integrations were unclear. This lack of visibility slowed down decision-making and reduced efficiency.

The Solution

Kramp implemented BlueDolphin to centralize its application landscape and create a single, reliable source of truth. Starting with Application Portfolio Management, the team structured and enriched application data while gradually expanding the model. BlueDolphin’s collaborative capabilities enabled broader involvement across the organization, improving data quality and alignment. By linking applications, processes, and infrastructure, Kramp gained a complete and flexible view of its architecture.

Impact

  • 60% reduction in time spent on impact analyses (~1000 hours saved annually).
  • Improved data accuracy and consistency across architecture domains.
  • Faster project initiation and clearer scoping.
  • Increased visibility into applications, costs, and dependencies.
  • Fewer surprises in projects through better insights and alignment.
